Hey. I have an 80GB Ipod classic. I recently updated my Itunes and my Ipod software.
I restarted the computer and then my Ipod starts acting weird and then I plug it in and it will not do anything. I restart the Ipod and it freezes on the restart apple screen. I went into diagnostics and it now says please plug in FW on about the 4th diagnostics test. What do i do?
any help is greatly appreciated. This ipod is my life

you could set it into disk mode. reset it, then hold down the select and play buttons. then if you are on a pc, use check disk. if on a mac, use disk utility.

if not, then the ipod might be going out... im sorry cause mine is my life too
