C channy9 macrumors newbie Original poster Dec 28, 2008 #1 I'v recently started using my macbook in clamshell mode connected to a tv, I have also noticed that I am now recieving very weak wifi signals from my router, could this be due to the fact that the lid on my macbook is now closed?

The antenna wires coming from the mini airport wireless card is actually soldered to the right and left side of the LCD frame.
