It's the number one paid application in the app store, yet most people on the MacRumors forums seem to be against it. My question to you: Did you buy iFart Mobile? ;)

I do that all by myself already, I don't need any help from an iPhone app.

Agreed, no way would I waste my money on that, regardless of price.

Price isn't the issue, I wouldn't download it if it were free. I really don't want to encourage the development of such apps.

I must be way out on the edge of the bell curve. I'm 64, love the application, and you should see the looks I get when I let it go in public:):):)

One word, children.

If you are a kid with a iphone or ipod or if you have a iphone or ipod and have a kid. I haven't personally got this but I heard a lot of talk about this offline.

It's a shame how most of the time I open App store, this app is still on top..

Nope... Apple love it (As do the devs) because it makes them lots of money. However, I feel that it is a piece of juvenile junk. That said, there's always seemingly a place in society for fart jokes.

Agreed. Same here. Works awesome in the library. However there is something about dropping a live bomb and then watch the people who get hit. Priceless.

So I'm sitting in a doctor's office waiting room yesterday afternoon. I pull out my iPhone and start browsing apps. I decide to read the description and a few reviews of iFart. Then I close the App Store and put the phone in my pocket. Less than 10 seconds later, I hear a loud farting sound from the other side of the waiting room. Then a few more disgusting sounds. I look over my shoulder, and some older guy (50+) is holding an iPhone in his hands, obviously running iFart. His wife finally tells him to stop.

Wow this app is popular. And I can't believe this older guy was running it at full volume in a doctors office. LOL.
