You mean after Apple?
Who knows anymore? I used to like RCA. I admired their product design and integration. But in recent years their stuff have become breakdown-prone crap. I also liked Chrysler, but they're not really the same since they got sold to the kr-- uh, Germans. ;)

My, those sound tasty. What are the best flavors?
Aside from Apple, some of my favorite brands are:
Arc Teryx (outdoor gear; very pricey but incredible quality and just all-around slick)
MSR (more outdoor gear - backpacking stoves, filters, tents. These items must be high quality since your survival depends on them! I have their Sidewinder tent, Pocket Rocket stove, MiniWorks filter, hydration bladder, and a cookset. Nothing's ever failed me yet, and it's all been through a lot!)
Western Mountaineering (Awesome down sleeping bags.)
Moosejaw (very cool mountaineering store here in Michigan)
I guess the only brands I really care much about are outdoor gear brands! :)

Obviously, Apple. Others:
Hyundai: Great, cheap cars. My family owns 3 and we cant complain
Lotus: The Elise is sex on wheels
Pioneer: Great car audio equipment
Sirius: Nationwide uncensored radio, can't get much better? Can't wait for Howard Stern in 06
Rockstar: It would be a boring world without GTA
Sony: Their computers suck, but gotta love the PS2 and PS3
Logitech: Great mice. Wouldn't own anything besides Logitech
Target: As an employee, I hate my job and can't stand my managers, and some of the behind the scenes stuff can be questionable at times. But as a shopper, it's a nice alternative to the always trashy never classy Wal-Mart.
Circuit City: I always try to buy electronics there. I'm never high pressured for warranties or any of that crap. Unlike Best Buy employees, who's goal in life is to sell me an extended warranty on a 15 dollar item.

Apple - why else would I be here?
Samsung - Excellent quality for a reasonable price, pay attention Sony.
Adidas - Football boots.
Ducati - Motorcycles
Honda - Ditto
Mathmos - 2nd coolest company on Earth :)
Miramax Studios - Only Hollywood company that seems to take a risk these days.

You guys keep jogging my memory:
Apple
Sony (some things)
Sony-Ericsson
Samsung
Canon
Nintendo
Google
Hyundai (I have one, and apparently, there's lots of brand loyalty for these :) )
Honda/Acura
BMW, Volvo, Nissan
Ikea
Muji
Birkenstocks
Bluenotes
New Balance
Mountain Equipment Co-op (MEC) (great quality outdoor stuff for cheap...and it's Canadian. :) )
Arcteryx (Got a top-of-the-line red Alpha SV.....amazing. They're made entirely in Vancouver)
Porter Bags (yes, I'm a straight guy, but bags are useful for guys too, damnit!:o )
Coke
Pringles
Arnotts TimTams ;)
Guinness
Leffe Brun
****All those fruit drink companies, including Innocent, Feel Good, and all the smoothie places, are just taking advantage of your health concerns, making you think that it costs heaps to drink healthily. Go to many places in the world, like Taipei for example, and you can get a fresh fruit juice(where they take the fruit, ice, blend it, and serve....nothing more) for around $0.25 to $1, and it's not ONLY because the economy is different. They also don't include a lot of yoghurts and other fillers into it. I get charged $4 USD at my local smoothie place, and now I wonder why it's so expensive. It's juice with some milk and yoghurt/ice, and their fruit juice isn't even fresh fruits......its sweetened preserved fruits mixed with sugary syrup. The only thing that's fresh is the banana they always add. No reason to charge so much for not-so-fresh, unnatural fruit juice.

This will be so much easier than the "brands you hate" thread.
Apple+FileMaker - for making the best dern hardware and software
Avia - most comfortable shoes on the planet (though mostly ugly)
Canon - for great printers, inexpensive bright inks, and consistent support for MacOS.
Cub Foods - for doing what it does best
EZQuest - even though my Mac will no longer recognize my DVD-RW drive. :(
Hershey's - Now that's chocolate!
Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing (3M)+Imation - Quality products
Montgomery Ward's (their own branded stuff were built like tanks)
Ragu - Yum!
S.C. Johnson Wax - Lemon Pledge still rocks after all these years.
Shell - Always clean, always friendly
UPS - for putting cute men in shorts - and for making package tracking easy and fun.
Zenith - Now they know how to design a remote control!
- Warning: long list -
Electronics stuff
Computers: Apple, Sony - great design and good quality
MP3 Players: Apple - great design
Peripherals: HP (printers), LaCie (hard disks) - for features/reliability
Mobile phone handsets: Sony Ericsson - nice design and feature packed handsets
Mobile phone service: Orange UK - very reliable (apart from the crappy 3G service!)
A/V separates: Sony, Pioneer, Mission
Food
Supermarket: Waitrose - interesting selection of food, good quality and excellent "Ocado" home delivery service
Drinks
Alcohol: Absolut Vodka, Jack Daniels
Soft drinks: Evian, Innocent smoothies, Diet Coke (vanilla) <-- i feel compelled to say that!
Clothes etc
Clothing (non-designer): Jigsaw, Whistles, Oasis
Clothing (designer): Kenneth Cole, DKNY, Shanghai Tang

I go through phases of attempting to swear off major brands and all that... but the consumer-whore in me still rears it's ugly head at times.

Yamaha- I love it all. ATV's, motorcycles, snowmobiles, audio equipment, musical instruments, etc
Apple- Computers and the iPod.
Bose- Speakers, Wave Radio, and my noise cancelling headphones
Abercrombie- Fun casual clothes
Eddie Bauer- Clothes for work and outdoors activities
Kenmore Appliances- They are well built and last forever!
Ford Motor Company- If you want to see a well produced documentary series check out www.fordboldmoves.com If you ever wondered what the auto industry was like behind closed doors, you will get to see it here. They are at Episode 9 and have new episodes weekly. It would be cool to see inside Apple like this, but I know they would never allow it.

Obviously, Apple. Others:
Lotus: The Elise is sex on wheels
yes, apple, that's why i joined macrumors
but i just saw a lotus elise for the first time tonight...wow...and the stats on the thing are amazing, and especially the price (base 43k) usd
and i thought the dodge viper or the acura nsx were the best sportscars dollar for dollar, and while a version of the viper is the fastest car in the world that is street legal, and the nsx keeps up with cars three times its price, they are still in the neighborhood of two times more expensive than the elise
lotus, very well done

Pabst Blue Ribbon
Fender
for the same reason i like the lotus...good product for money...i think pabst is actually not all that bad for it's very low cost...i don't think the more expensive coors or budweiser are all that much different, or better
of course, i like anchor steam or guinness far better, but those beers are in different price categoy altogether
...
fender, the amercian standard series, which is about their midline product line, is a great instrument and far less expensive than all its competitors' midline electric guitars
gibson's studio series, japanese made ibanezes, and esp standard series guitars, though they are very nice, and companies' midline offerings, are a few hundred dollars higher than fender's flagship standbys, the stratocaster and telecaster
and some guitars, like parker, tom anderson, and paul reed smith are priced so high it so far out of reach of most musicians and in a different category, much like anchor steam and guinness, are in a different category to pabst and not fair comparing
...
oh, and tutima automatic and manual watches...they are a great deal for the money and comparable to swiss watches that are twice as expensive but simply don't have the name like omega and rolex
