I tried to jailbreak my iPod touch 1st gen. I entered DFU mode like a dozen times and I option + clicked restore in iTunes and selected my custom firmware. It prepares the iPod for restore and etc. But then this error code pops up saying something about error code 1600. I know 10.5.6 broke DFU mode so I used a USB hub to get around it. What can I do? This iPod touch was never jailbroken before, all legit with official firmware. I'm on a MacBook polycarbonate running 10.5.6 and the latest iTunes (I think 8.0.2). Please help!
