I'm getting into the Electronic genre but only a certain type of song (typically not hard hitting club like beats although Mylo - In Your Arms is one of my favorites) so I'm having trouble finding some new stuff. If anyone can suggests single songs to check out that would be great. To give you an idea of what I like, these are my favorite tracks.
Massive Attack - Teardrop
Gomez - Get Miles
FC Kahuna - Hayling
Thanks for any insight!

It's late, so I'm too tired to make more than one suggestion right at the moment, but there's a lot out there. I'm listening right now to some mellow electronica by Sunlounger. DJ Shah mixes/produces tracks under various names, dance and chillout tracks. A couple of Sunlounger albums are double-disks, with one disk of chill mixes of each song, the other disk has the dance mix versions of the same songs. The one I'm listening to tonight is the chilled half of "Another Day On The Terrace (http://www.emusic.com/album/Sunlounger-Another-Day-On-The-Terrace-MP3-Download/11205571.html)." The other one is "Sunny Tales (http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewAlbum?id=284905648&s=143441)."
One is available on eMusic.com, with lots of other DJ Shah mix albums. And iTMS has other selections of this.
Well, since I'm started, I'll toss a few more basic artist/label suggestions which may get you started...depending on your tastes...
Any of the "Buddha Lounge" series (just do a search on eMusic.com, or iTunes Music Store, should be plenty of cross references. Usually the compilation albums can lead you to certain artists/producers whose style you like.)
also:
No Noise
Thievery Corp
Cantoma
Nuspirit Helsinki
Delerium
Conjure One
Bliss
John Hopkins (ambient)
Ulrich Schnauss (ambient)
Zero 7
Various Artists on the Ubiquity and Guidance labels (compilations)
Various Artists on Sequoia and Water Music labels (compilations)
Various Artists on Nettwork and Om Records labels (compilations)
Port D'Andratx
King Kooba
P'taah
Ian Boddy (ambient)
Lenny Ibizarre (ambient mostly)
Soulstice - the Illusion album, or Mixed Illusions album (soul-styled vocals...fits into the electronic genre for me...)
Kumharas
Kruder & Dorfmeister
Kaskade (DJ mixes)
DJ Shah (lots of nice chill/dance as mentioned above.)
DJ Cam - euro trip-hop
Tosca - German electronic, try the J.A.C. Remixes or the **** Dub Remixes.
Blu Mar Ten
Some additional search keywords are Ibiza, Balearic, Hanseatic, "Hotel," Eighteenth St. Lounge, Global Underground, Kriztal Entertainment... among others.
This just touches the larger classification of electronic, but should help get you started with some exploring... :) Have fun!
