Firefox 3 and Finger Gestures

That is because Firefox 3.0 does not support gestures on the Mac. If you want to try the newest beta, go to http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-beta.html and download 3.1 beta 2 as it added support for gestures.

Or you can use Multi Clutch

+1 for multi clutch! works like a treat

The multiclutch+firefox 3.1 beta combination is pure win. With FF handling most of the gestures that I had multiclutch performing, they've really added to the functionality of my favorite browser.

If you don't want to use the FF Beta, MultiClutch does an awesome job

I love FF beta, also the "pinch" feature is sooo much more amazing on FF than Safari, it actually zooms smoothly on pics.. and on safari it doesnt seem to zoom on anything except text

I agree; the FF beta is awesome. Don't be afraid of the word beta either, it's very stable. I haven't had a single problem since installing it a few weeks ago. In fact... it seems more stable than Safari, which seems to crash every other time I use it...

Amen....the beta is great !!!!

does nobody like safari? it does the three finger swipe thingie for forward and back.

I'm using Firefox Shiretoko Alpha 2, its pretty amazing

It has 3 finger swipe back and forth and.....

3 finger up to the top of the page
3 finger down to the bottom of the page
2 finger scrolling in all directions
2 finger twist to move back and forth through tabs.

Try it out, you'll love it like I have been.

if i could hook up foxmarks on safari... sold

the biggest thing I think that the swipes is awesome in firefox 3.1 beta is the rotate to switch tabs.

to my knowledge safari doesnt have that.

Multi Clutch Problems

HELP! I downloaded multi clutch and when i click the + on the gesture/key command side, the only thing that appears in the list is the swipe left....over and over again... Any ideas??

Is it just me, or... Does the Mac download link not work?

Yeah.

See the little up/down black arrows to the right of where it says "swipe left?"

Click on that and choose the swipe you want to customize.
