Where to buy AppleCare for Macbook?

I'm in the UK and my 1yr warranty on my newly acquired white Macbook expires on 10th January. Where's the best place in the UK to buy AppleCare?

If I buy off ebay (and say the seller got the AppleCare from US or somewhere), can I still register it in the UK? How can I tell the difference?

Well you can buy it off ebay, applecare is universal so as long as it's registered to your macbook, its fine. I also suggest just getting it from apple using the education discount.

I bought one off ebay yesterday and the seller emailed it to me almost immediately. It was $129. It will work internationally regardless of where the seller is. PM me if you want the sellers ebay name

Then i guess your best bet is ebay, try searching both the US and the Uk site, or craigslist

Basically a lot of places: ebay, amazon, local apple retailer store, apple store....

How do you register from AppleCare? Do you just input a code into Apple's website with your computers serial number or something?

So when you win an auction off eBay, the seller sends you just the code in the box, not the package that you'd get if you bought it in the store?

so maybe try and get someone who is a student to get it for you!

That price is only for purchase at the same time as the Mac covered.

It is only that price because HE purchases instore come with the standard 12 month Apple Limited Warranty - HE purchases on-line and on HE website come with 3 year warranty as standard.

Defiantly eBay. I recently got applecare for my macbook for £63.

I know memorymate sells is on there for £90. Got the code emailed to me within minutes and took about 3-4 days to register it on the apple website.
