Kraftwerk eh? I wish there was a market for such bands here. Say, do you know if Amon Duul or Can or T Dream are still active? I think if one of them was to give a concert I'd fly back there for it.

Tangerine Dream are still around and some of the people from Can have several projects going on... I think Holger Czukay is the most active of them...

May I suggest that you don't tell us the answer straight away and allow us the courtesy of a least a couple of guesses?

It rather ruined the game for me, and people like you ruin it for everyone.

[did that put down suitably cover up my jealosy on the subject?];)

vSpackenDuff-Man says.....Can were awesome. Yes, Holger (http://www.czukay.de/) seems to be the most active but Irmin still does quite a bit as well, and is doing some performances of his opera "Gormenghast" this June and July (http://www.mutelibtech.com/mute/news/tour.htm#Can).....oh yeah!

(And wasn't last year just terrible for the losses of great German musicians...Michael Karoli (Can), Florian Fricke (Popol Vuh) and Thomas Dinger (Neu!, La Düsseldorf) all passing away.)

Congrats on the tickets, let us know how it goes. Oh, and post some pics if you can, or can even take some.

O.K., I'm back from Cologne and I have to say one thing:
THIS WAS ONE OF THE BEST CONCERTS I'VE EVER BEEN TO..!

massive sound, excellent visuals and a setlist that included new songs, updated versions of classic tracks, and also included rarities like the "Sellafield" and "Music Non Stop" MTV-trailers... they also brought the "robot"-puppets on stage to dance to "The Robots" while the guys were changing from suit'n'tie to their "glowing suits"

sorry, but I couldn't take any pictures, but you can look at very nice pics from the Stockholm show at www.henrik.net (http://www.henrik.net/cam/t.asp?datum=040210) (they are better than I could have taken them anyways... credit and respect to the man Henrik :) )

here are four linked pictures from Henrick's page:

2. The Man-Machine/Die Mensch-Maschine
3. Expo 2000
4. Tour de France 2003
5. Vitamin
6. Tour de France (Original)
7. Autobahn
8. The Model
9. Neon Lights/Neonlicht
10. Radio Activity
11. Trans-Europe-Express

Pause
12. Nummern/Numbers
13. Computer World
14. It's more fun to compute/Homecomputer
15. Pocket Calculator/Taschenrechner

16. The Robots

17. Elektro Kardiogramm
18. Aéro Dynamik

...AND for all you Americans out there:
Don't miss Kraftwerk at Coachella Music Festival, Indio California, 01.05.04... ;)

And to quote a Can song..."Oh Yeah" ;)
One Can Man who is still active is the effervescent Damo Suzuki, saw him perform live last month, truly brilliant. :)
