K kovy17 macrumors member Original poster Jan 3, 2009 #1 I downloaded a CD and It downloaded it into .ogg form which is compatible for VLC. What should i change it to to get it to go into itunes. I looked at my itunes songs and they end with m4a. If i change the .ogg to .m4a would it work?

S Sijmen macrumors 6502a Jan 3, 2009 #2 You need to convert the files; changing the extensions won't do. iTunes accepts MP3, AAC (m4a), and other formats.

QuarterSwede macrumors G4 Jan 3, 2009 #4 If you've ripped the CD then just rip it in iTunes as well. If you downloaded an album and it's pirated, well ... not helping then.
