So, one day, my macbook dies. I get the Flashing Grey folder wit the "?".
i worry, go to manchester the next day, made a reservation because it would be horrifically busy.
Had a proper nice genius, he was really nice, and made it clear that i was not going to get my information back.
now the repair.
i was worried that it was going to be offensively expensive.
my computer was out of warranty and had been for some time.
nope. free. free new hard drive and os x installment.
and because they dont sell the 60gb hard drive anymore, i get an 80gb one !
how excellent is that !
so, he says he'll ring me when its done, probably going to be a few days.
nope. rang me that night. telling me it was done and i could collect it!
Just thought i'd let everyone know how excellent the service was:)
glad it wasn't a pc :D

Ive always had a great success with the Manchester apple store.
When i my ipod broke, they didnt ask many questions, they just bought all my details up on their screen, 5 mins later brand new iPod on the desk :)

I've had many pleasant Apple store experiences.
I'm glad you had a nice one! :)
