ibook sleep question

Whenever i close my ibook, it goes to sleep, i was wondering if there was a way to prevent this, so say, im running an app, it doesnt pause, or i wanna play music w/ the cover closed, or i wanna stay online but wanna close the lid, thanks, is there a way?

I know that you have to have an external monitor connected. I think you may have to have an external keyboard connected as well.

caveat: your iBook can overheat and be damaged if you run it in clamshell mode. Also, if you need to send it to Apple for repairs at any time, dont forget to zap the pram (command option p r) so they wont know the hack was applied. (about whether or not this is a warranty voiding hack, its a gray area. better not to leave any proof)
