I am having an issue when it comes to exporting audio files from digital performer to iTunes. I seem to lose a great deal of quality and volume in the steps exporting my final mix from DP to iTunes. I am exporting my final stereo track as an AIFF file to my desktop, where I then import it into iTunes and convert it into the mp3. Even though the volume of the track is normal in DP and comparable to that of other tracks in my iTunes library at this stage, once I put it into iTunes, the volume is greatly reduced, such that I can barely hear the track on even the highest levels. Is there anything I'm getting wrong or should be doing specially in the export process to prevent this quality loss from occurring?
