I found this ELIPDA 2x1GB PC5300, DDR2-667 (5-5-5) ram locally here for around 50$ CDN which i would talk down anyways.

But im wondering if it would work with my 1st Gen blackbook?

I found some data sheets for the ram but im not sure if it would work.

it will work. your macbook requires 200 pin SO-SIMM memory, which this is.

well i think ill offer the guy 30$ for it since now you can buy it locally for around 40$ brand new kingston stuff anyways

Check Newegg, I just ordered 2x2GB for $34 shipped, I'm sure 2x1GB is under $30.
