Hi, I am working with someone to create an app for the ipod touch for an event that we are organizing. One problem I have come up with is the iphone OS caching ability. Throughout the event, new pictures will be uploaded to our server every few hours. Our APP has a link to the html page where the pictures are uploaded to but our guests will not always have WiFi available throughout the event. Is there a way to include in the app a "download now" button like in the app from the Swiss Newspaper "20 Minutes"? In that app, you can press "download now" and it will save the most recent articles (including pictures) for you to browse through when no internet connection exists. Where does it save this data to and how do I implement this into my app? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
