iPod touch Bad to leave Ipod touch plugged in?

I have a 16G Ipod Touch 2nd Gen. I was just wondering, is it okay to leave it plugged into the computer even when its fully charged? Ive heard that wears the battery out but im not sure.

Nope, I leave my iPhone plugged into my computer when it is fully charged. The iPod is smart enough to prevent overcharging the battery.
