Just a thought, but don't you think apple could put an iSight in the actual Mac mini itself? I don't see why not :S
Thoughts?

Cameras are better placed on screens, so you do not have to bend down to be seen.

I think that Apple is more interested in people purchasing the new 24" LED Cinema Display that has a built in webcam.

So, how would you use the iSight if you keep the mini tucked out of the way, like most people do?

I completly agree with this comment, I can't see why you would want an isight cam in a mini as nobody I know of that owns a mini has or would want it mounted on top of their tv/monitor. Most people have the mini tucked away in a corner out the way.

I think it's fair to say a desktop with a built-in webcam (given that it's not an AIO) is a pretty silly idea.

How would that work - it would be at finger level!

I hate it when people have those webcams that sit on their desk giving a great view of their chin…don't see this happening.

i don't mean to be rude but its a silly idea to put the isight in the mini itself, remember when apple introduced the isight they said should be at eye level so you can make eye contact, as has been said in other posts no one wants to see the under side of your chin and alot of people keep there mini tucked away, i would like apple to release a new external isight but they really want you to spend the money on the new led displays with the isight in them.

Sounds good. Makes voyeur pics easier at Internet Cafés. Just mount the mini under the tables.
