jailbroke my touch. Apps wont install

i used this then when i went to the installer app. i click on somthing and click install. then it says error package download failed. any help?

Because Installer sucks. Use Cydia.

Dude, that's a 1.1.4 tutorial. Update to 2.2 and jailbreak.
