I just noticed this whilst playing "Til We Die" by Slipknot... I have my MacBook plugged into my stereo through 3.5mm to RCA jacks and there is a slight but constant high pitched whine over the speakers.
I thought it was the song so I hit next, but it did it with four other songs, and when I tried playing a video in the QTP. The stereo doesn't make the noise for CD or radio, and the MacBook does not make this noise through its own speakers.
Something up or am I getting tinnitus again?
