I use MPEG Streamclip to convert FRAPS-recorded avi-files into H.264-encoded mov-files. Software versions are at the bottom of this message.

Everything worked fine until yesterday and now FRAPS videos are shown as blank whites in MPEG Streamclip. Converting them also creates solid blank white videos. The sound part of the videos is just fine, however. Also, the FRAPS videos open just fine in Quicktime+Perian, just not in MPEG Streamclip.

In addition to checking that I have the most recent versions of all the software involved, I tried the following: reinstalling Perian, reinstalling Quicktime, reinstalling MPEG Streamclip. I also tried deleting MPEG Streamclip's plist under Library/Preferences.

Nothing works. Any help will be appreciated.

Macbook Pro 2.33GHz
Quicktime Pro 7.5.5, Perian 1.1.3, MPEG Streamclip 1.9.2, Flip4Mac 2.2.1.11

I'm confused... if you own flip4Mac, why not just export the files directly out of Quicktime Pro as H.264? MPEG Streamclip shouldn't be involved here.

Because MPEG Streamclip does a nice batch processing mode.
