I need a name for my new ChiPoo! It's a girl and I want a nerdy tech name, maybe even something apple related! So far I like Linux!

Call it Barack.
That way you'll know how long you've had it.
EDIT: Sorry, didn't read properly — it's a girl. Ok: Hillary. Same deal.

from "WYSIWYG" (What you see is what you get).
I once saw an interview with Steve Jobs using the acronym numerous times.

Happy Max, a play on the happy Mac symbol.
Or how about just Mac! Mac is a real name. Or since it's a girl you can name her Maxine. You could even spell it Macsine, or Macscene.

That's so funny because my cousin named her Boston Terrier embee as a combination of her to best friends' names: Emily and Gabbee.
I second the MacScene suggestion. Such a cute dog!

SCSI looks good in print but sounds kind of derogatory to me.

Aileron!
You know what? I vote for SCSI, but DMR ... if I happen to get another pet I just may take the name Aileron given that you've shown such dedication to the name. Or maybe that's the name I can give my invisible boyfriend!

She's is so beautiful :D!
As for names I like two that others have suggested. Scuzzy (Scuzz for short) or Pippin (Pip for short) sound very apt :).
