So I was on the apple site and they have 2 airs with the HD option

1) $999.00
Refurbished MacBook Air 1.6GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
13.3-inch glossy widescreen display
2GB memory
80GB 4200-rpm PATA hard drive
Built-in 802.11n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR
Built-in iSight Camera

2) 1,399.00
Refurbished MacBook Air 1.8GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
13.3-inch glossy widescreen display
2GB memory
80GB 4200-rpm PATA hard drive
Built-in 802.11n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR

-----
The only dif I see is the processor, and that can't be worth 400bux??? Am I missing something or is apple crazy?

Has to be a typo as the SSD model is even cheaper:

Refurbished MacBook Air 1.8GHz Intel Core 2 Duo (http://store.apple.com/us/product/FB450LL/A?mco=MjE0Njc4Ng)

13.3-inch glossy widescreen display
2GB memory
64GB solid-state drive
Built-in 802.11n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR
Built-in iSight Camera $1,299.00

My guess is that $1,399 is not really a refurb but a brand new MBA on clearance.

Was it in the Reburbished section or the Clearance section?

It's under refurb. I noticed this too. I thought maybe just because they had less of them. I wasn't sure.

I was told the refurbished models won't have new batteries. So the battery you may get would be less than what you would get in another computer. It was 1299 for a new 1.6/80 gig. Thinking about it but decided not to.

SAME WARRANTY as new.
