Changing 3G and EDGE logos?

Tried searching but couldn't find anything, is there any way i can change the 3G and EDGE names on the status bar on the iphone?.. thanks

Edit: Oh, I see you wanted something different. Its just a matter of going through the file trees and finding the right icon and just overwriting it (back up the original) or making your own theme to be recognized by Winterboard.

I think its just an icon, because they each used to have a surrounding box that was later removed. That can of course be done with a custom font, but I don't think the iPhone has any custom fonts on it.
