Hi everyone,

I am trying to import my footage from my new Panasonic HMC151 using FCP from either the SD card reader or straight from the USB port on the cam. Does anyone know what Easy Setup settings I need in order to be able to import it via Log and Capture. I want to covert the footage to AIC/Sony EX as ProRes is a bit much.

Cheers for the help

I was under the impression that one AVCHD, unlike DV, does not need to be captured. That might be why it won't work. Can you convert to the AIC/Sony format using QT Pro?

Well, first of all, USB won't cut it for DV and certainly won't for HD. You will need a FireWire 800 cable to capture through the camera.
For AVCHD, you must use Log and Transfer NOT Log and Capture. Refer here (http://www.g-technology.com/products/G-RAID-mini.cfm) for any other questions. This is not the same camera as yours but deals with the same issue.
