I wrote Steve an email it's not officially from Steve himself but from Daniel Jasso Corporate Executive Relations Apple. I wonder if this is for real and I will finally get my problems solved~~

Where did you write it? On a wall or on a piece of paper or what?
Seems a little odd to just write Steve Jobs somewhere!

Depends what the number is that they gave you, if it's just a normal one then no but it's some sorta special one (which I dont think is likely) then maybe but seeing as you have your AppleCare and the laptop gave you so much grief you will probably get a replacement anyway.
Surely

Email him your phone number and let him call you. That would work better than calling and having to explain everything again.

Dan is a very nice guy and he'll treat you very well :)
Yes, that response is for real. I worked with Dan about 3 weeks ago to get a dead fan replaced in my MBP. The Apple Store refused me under warranty but Dan set things straight and got the laptop fixed for free over the weekend (right before Christmas, even!)
With those kinds of problems occurring, I don't see any reason why they shouldn't replace your laptop. Best of luck, I'm sure things will work out wonderfully for you.

:::UPDATE::::
I"m on the phone right now with Daniel. The only thing they can do is REPAIR my computer....they won't replace it. I'm so pissed off who's to say it's not gonna mess up again after they send it back too me?!?!? is there anything else I can do or say to persuade them into a replacement/?

What I love about this comment is that it takes me back to when I used to listen to Derek and Clive ( Dudley Moore, and Peter Cook ) albums.
One of the arguments they got into on the record was that Derek had sent letters to people such as Ms. Thatcher, by simply writing a letter and posting it. No stamp, no address, ne envelope, nothing, he just bunged it in the post box. Another time, he sent Roger round to deliver it. He didn't tell Roger where, he just sent Roger Round!!!!
Later, I stopped drinking.

Who's to say that it IS going to mess up again after they send it back to you?
And if it does, then you have way more ground to stand upon to ask for a replacement.
Until then, ... where is the logic on Apple replacing your equipment when the odds are highly in favor of it just needing a one-time repair?

Haha, my comment was actually about the topic title - Kermit the frog says "I wrote Steve Jobs". To me, this means that they wrote Steve Jobs.. literally. What Ktf actually meant was "I wrote to Steve Jobs[/b] - those missing two letters made the topic title odd to me.
Oh well, I won't be so pedantic in future.
