Is this image the original and true technical difficulties image? I've this used on YouTube a lot and sometimes it says PLEASE STAND BY on it. And if it is the real image, does anyone know why there is a Indian Head on it and what look like discs? An explanation would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Lethal! I didn't know it was called the Indian Head Test Card. I did google around for some time. I use posting a thread as my last resort to allow you and other posters to reply to other posts. I was googling technical difficulties sign in the web and image search. The image search gave me mainly these images.

It isn't a 'technical difficulties' chart; its an old resolution chart.

Thanks -DH, I found that out after reading the Wikipedia page. I saw it used in shows and YT videos as a technical difficulties chart and assumed that. The reason I posted this thread was to find out if it was really a technical difficulties chart or was just used as that.
