20" display for imac

Hi
I was wondering what a good second display for my new 20" imac should I buy the apple one, a dell or something similar?
What are your thoughts on this?

Any advice would be very much appreciated.

Get something non-Apple, as it will be less than half the price.

You could also tell us why you need it so that we don't tell you to get a TN panel when you need H-IPS.

I would be using it for general use, e.g. photoshop elements, imovie, itunes, iphoto and so on.

Make sure to grab a Mini-DVI to VGA/DVI or whatever your monitor takes adopter 🙂
