Evening guys,

I've jailbroken my iPhone 3G on 2.2 and I'm on a Macbook Pro on Leopard.

I've tried to use apps such as Cyberduck and Fugu to connect to my iPhone but neither app can connect, I really want to get these ROMs on here, and the apps would be good to use in general of course.

Could somebody explain why the apps aren't connecting, I'm using the username of root and the password of alpine, and the I.P. presented to me on the wireless settings screen.

I appreciate it's probably basic but I can't find any answers anywhere.

Please help.

Are you connecting sftp or ftp? It matters. Also my first ssh session took me a while to connect. What I did is when you hit the connect button on cyberduck open safari on your phone. That seemed to work for me the first time.
