Retaining Layout Format

I want to create a .dmg file for distribution of some files, but I want the image to open up folders using all my special folder format (window size, background color, icon size, simple finder). I'm using Disk Utility, but no matter what I do, when I mount the .dmg file, all the formatting is gone. I have seen this done before, so I know that it is possible, I just can't seem to duplicate the effect. Is there some other program I need to get, or am I missing something within Disk Utility? Thanks!

I'm guessing that this means that no one knows how to do this?

Does anyone else even know what I'm taking about, or am I going crazy?



Maybe a pointer to where else I might ask this question would be almost as helpful.
