I have a Macbook Pro connected to a time capsule. How can I tell if I am connected via 802.11n?

Option-Click on the Airport icon in your menu bar. If the Transmit Rate shows something > 54, then you are getting 802.11n speeds.

I use the 802.11n/g compatible mode, and routinely see 130 for my speeds...

This thread is old, but was glad to find the answer so I'm saying thanks.

I would have to say thanks as well, as old as it is I'm finding it valuable as of today. Still works great, that option click is a nugget.

PHY mode : 802.11g
