The fact that it is "value ram" isn't a problem since it is the right speed. It is CL5, but CL4 would only be about 1% faster. Most comparable ram is CL5, and CL4 chips can be hard to find. Brand doesn't matter too much as long as they are reputable and offer a lifetime warranty.

The link you posted is for DDR2 Ram, he has a new unibody Macbook which takes DDR3 Ram.

I'm in the US but I'd say that is a good price for crucial, thats its 118 USD, and I payed 124USD, plus you can't be the quality, crucial has very solid ram been running for a month no problems.
