Nice job verbose, but you know the Contest ended last night, right?

Keep practicing and you'll be ready for next year....

Yeah, I know the contest ended. I would never dream of entering this anyway :D
It was just my first attempt so I thought I'd post it.

Are you asking for constructive criticism? If so, make the movement of the smile a little more defined. It's ok as it is, but perhaps a little less blurry?

Good attempt! At this rate you'll have a killer entry for next years' contest :D

The reason it's blurry is because I just used the motion tween feature in ImageReady 7.0 to create the frames between the happy and sad face, lazy I know :p

I know how you feel, I'll make stuff for other people but then when I make something for myself I couldn't be stuffed :)

Take this as a warning!

I am closing in on the 500 mark.

When that happens I will release my tar upon all of you.

Now, some of you may not survive but the real men will.
Of course they will be maimed horrible but alive nonetheless!

I like the rotating MAC but I think you need something more uuuu
personal, not just a product.

KNow what i mean?

I know what u mean but I really like the 3D rotating apple hardware, first i had just the QuickSilver rotating kindly put together by dukestreet, then the other night I decided to give it ago myself and turn the quicktime movies from the apple galley into a animated gif, i'm really pleased with it, and its bang on 20k!

I can't, I allready uses all the avaliable frames from the QT Movie in the Apple hardware 3D gallerys, there are on 18 frames in the QT with the QuickSilver and the LCD, I'm using all of them in this allready.
What I could do is speed up the frame rate and see if it looks any better, I'll give it a shot when I get home from work later on.

There you go, I've put the frame rate down from 0.15 delay, to 0.1, it seems to be alot smoother now.

Here's the old one (0.15 delay) to compare to the current one I'm using:

i like it much better, the other wasnt too choppy at first glance but if you looked at it for a while it kinda became choppy:D

Thats dude! Looking at the two it's suprising the difference that 0.05 extra delay makes :D

Nice job verbose. I myself only started using ImageReady when I hit 500.

Pretty simple, I hit cmd-shift-3 every couple seconds then scaled down the image in Photoshop. Took a lot of tweaking to get that down to 20k though.

It looks really good! Much nicer than your old one.

Thanks, I am a Photoshop veteran but I had never needed to use Imageready until I needed a 'tar.

they need to fix it so you can have bigger gifs, 20k ain't much, I had to vut alot of frames out on mine
