Bootcamp and Partitioning?

Okay so I have Windows 7 on a disk and ready to be loaded onto my Macbook via Bootcamp.

I know that you have to partition the hard drive, too.

However I just want to know, what's the go with deleting an OS on bootcamp, and what happens to the partition etc?

To remove it, you simply go into Boot Camp Assistant, and tell it to deleted your Windows partition. Your partition is erased. Done.
