I have an ipod touch. in the itunes folder is what you would expect, music movies, and a bunch of applications. what would happen now if i was to hook up an ipod shuffle to it and sync. would it try and sync applications and stuff too or does it already know shuffle cant use applications and movies.

Obviously it knows... It's not like it's hard code to write "don't put movies and apps on a shuffle."
