View Full Version : Clicking noise from hard drive when booted into Windows 7

Hello everyone.

When I boot into Windows 7 on my MacBook, a faint clicking noise comes from the hard drive. I only hear it when I do things such as opening and closing a program. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them, or if anyone has any idea what could be going on. Thanks.

Pretty sure that's just your HD accessing.

That's what I was leaning towards. There are no clicking noises when I'm using OS X, so it's probably nothing to worry about.
