View Full Version : Changing the dock icon arrows a different color

Ok so everyone knows the little black arrows under the dock icons when they are open... Well my question is if anyone knows a way to change their color! I had seen OrangeSVTguy talk about it before but there was never an explanation on how! I am looking to change them to green!

Yeah but docker doesnt take care of what I was trying to do... Any other ideas?

I'm not entirely sure this is exactly the same for Tiger, but the principle should be the same.
In Finder, press cmd + shift + G (or menu Go / Go To Folder).
Enter "/System/Library/CoreServices/Dock.app/Contents/Resources" and press Go.
In that folder there are the images used by the dock. There is an image representing the black triangle somewhere, so you can replace it (or alter it) with what you want...
