External USB Camera [Archive]

I have an external USB camera it is a Z-Star PC Camera. How do I get it working on my MBP 17"???

I need a moveable camera for some projects and need this working as soon as I can.

I also have Windows XP on VM Fusion and it does recognize it but I can't get it to work on there either.

ANy help would be great!!!!

According to Google, the Z-Star PC Camera is probably using the ZC0301 chip. There is a good chance it is supported by macam (http://webcam-osx.sourceforge.net/index.html).

If you tell Fusion to grab that USB device, it should only be a question of installing the drivers in XP to get it to work in XP. In theory.
