How would I make a picture a boot logo? Even if I get the size down below what is allowed, it still says not valid...

It keeps saying its not a proper PNG file...

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

I would suggest converting it from JPG to PNG :)

It is a PNG on my computer. Photobucket made it a jpg.

Can you attach the .png instead? Maybe there's something else wrong like color depth or something that some folks can look at. :)

I dont know how to have it attach a PNG instead of the jpg.. Any way you could just convert that image for me, then tell me how you did it :D You would rock then... and I know you want to rock! :apple:

hey i was having the same problem .. the size and everything was right but something was off on it.. are you using logome .. if so this is what i did to fix it


you have to ssh into your phone.. Private/var/mobile/library. then find logome folder and delete it .. uninstall logome in cydia then reinstall work perfectly after that

You can attach multiple files types on Mac Rumors forums. :) When you reply or create a post, scroll down and click the Manage Attachments button. There ya go, now you yourself can rock. :)

LogoMe doesnt download anything for me even if i give it a good URL... is there a place i can SSH to and drop a PNG file to, and have it see it?

Hmm, only thing I can see different than my logos is that the Alpha Channel is 0 on your png, mine shows 1. I'm not a graphics guy so I'm unsure if this is the issues. Here's my logos, maybe try to see if they work on your phone and if they do, it's def something wrong with your image and not your phone. :)

still doesnt work :( I dont even care if I have to reimage my phone, I just want that logo to work with pwnage.
