Hey if i bought an unlcoked/Jailbroken iphone, and i resorted it on itunes to its locked on O2 , will i be able to put an O2 sim card in (which is on an O2 contract already but not an iphone contract)

Is this possible?

Yes restoring in itunes erases any signs of unlocking/jailbreaking. It will work fine with your O2 sim card.

yes it can be unlocked anytime, on any firmware. You should be on 2.2 though. It's the newest one.
