I would like to see everyone's SELF PORTRAIT. It doesn't necessarily have to be a photo, could be a drawing, cartoon, collage, etc... I would just like to see how people picture themselves in imagery. Here's mine...

This is more a portrait of what I would rather be doing instead of punching a time clock everyday. 20 years ago I lived in a little town called Green Valley (elv. 3,000') that was 44 miles north of downtown Los Angeles. I would drive north to the desert and to this day I can remember how good those tasted.

i dunno. i'd be kinda scary to see what people are like. i mean, just like you listen to a radio station, and you have this image of the hosts, btu then you go to the website, and you're disappointed. i'll leave everyone guessing, because you all want to see what i look like ;)

I will include photos of forum members that are posted in this thread in the MacRumors Members Photo Directory (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=41568), since this thread is similar in purpose to the MacRumors pics! (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=38844) thread. And, starting recently, members can also attach a photo of themselves to their member profile. So you have lots of chances to show off!

Note: Anyone who wants to be excluded from the Directory can send me a private message (http://forums.macrumors.com/private.php?do=newpm&u=12149).

Is that you in the photo? What filter did you use to make it come out that way?

Yeah, it's me in the photo. Taken at Chicago International Airport, on my way back from Urbana. Not a great picture of me(or the airport for that matter), but PS really brings ugly detail to beautiful light.
The filter is called "Glowing Edges", I believe it's under "stylize" but I don't remember off hand. If you can't find it PM me and I'll fire up classic/photoshop and give you a path.

It makes a great Apple plug;you should get a free dual processor G-whatever when it comes out in whenever! That's a very nice implementation of glowing edges.

Sometimes when I'm bored at work I draw with the mouse in MS Paint. This was done years ago when I was really almost that thin, so take it with a grain of salt. I also have no idea if the attachment thingy worked. here goes....

(edit: on second thought, let's try that as a .jpg instead.)

Since I'm the product of parents who got such a late start that I probably should have been a teenager/college student in the seventies, and am an aunt, that's probably appropriate. :)

Hahaha! I'm good - One shot...

the trick with the digital camera is to set up the shot using the mirror to make sure the camera is pointing in the right direction. If you can see the camera, it can see you :D

A self portrait on my road bike, the wind gusting past my earholes. The first few weeks back in training after a winter hibernating is the worst part of cycling, but I think it is starting to pay off now - I actually have the energy to take a picture 15 miles from home.

On this ride I got pictures of Concorde and a nuclear power station. Guess where I live.

OK, only two strikes in me--the Sizewell reactor, tho I don't know of a large airport there to accomodate the Concorde.

Concorde is in retirement, never to fly again and is posing at a small airfield. The power station is on the longest river in England

nice picture of your retina. however i'm concerned by your macula it looks somewhat abnormal. have you seen an ophtamologist recently? You also seem to have some scarring as well. But that could be just an artifact of the picture taking.
