Hey, I dropped my iPhone and there were no cracks on the screen or anything but I believe part of the LCD is broken. Take a look.

Will Apple cover this? The phone is still under warranty.
Like is it known for LCDs to just randomly break or will they know I dropped it.
Thanks.

that is the first one that i have seen where the lcd was affected without the glass cracking.
i guess getting it replaced depends on the genius that you give it to. i would be suspicious, but seeing that the glass isnt busted, might make it seem like it is an apple flaw.
Are there any other cosmetic marks that look like impact wounds?

It's scratched up pretty bad in the back but no major dents or anything.
If you're just looking at it without turning it on, it looks perfectly fine.

No physical damage is covered by the warranty. Apple probably will not replace it.:(

Yeah, but how are they gonna tell that it was caused by me? I'm not going to tell them that I dropped the phone.
I'll call Apple tomorrow and see what they say. There's no store nearby.
