So this week I've managed to get two friends over to the Apple store and buy Apples for the first time. Not big systems, but its a start, one 12" iBook and an eMac.
It makes me feel good that I've been able to get them going on a Mac, and I'm sure they'll be buying Apple again in a few years. Doing my part to increase that market share.....and spread the word:D

I might get my friends to get on MacRumors as well, let them know that the place is actually a great resource if you run into problems....
we'll see.

VOTE FOR DUKE!
Duke~ make sure you warn your friends that this is site is also likely to waste them a *lot* of time, if they should become anywhere near as regular as you :D

ha, they probably would be on a little, but not as much as me, that's for sure. I've got a big surprise coming up in a month or so, though, that will change a few things....

Would that surprise have anything to do with your wife?

Well, I have converted 3 people in the last year. I have a desire to run for Office, but won't be able to until the Mrs. Graduates. Just think, me and my political views running for Office. Scarry isn't it.
I second the motion to make Duke community President.

Does that motion need a thirding? :p
You'd probably do well in politics b2tm. My only concern would be that you could be viewed as overly opinionated. That, plus you might be too honest for office :D

he.he. Yea, I am very opinionated. As far as being too honest. I think that is what we need in government here in the US. Plus, I would represent what I think is right, not what special interests want. Thus, I would be a one term office holder :D
It will be neat to see what happens when I do run, because I will. I will be a moderate though, even though I am a republican. A lot like John McCain.

Ha, no, not that. Even though my personal life is somewhat represented on these boards, I'm talking about something to do with the online aspect.....
MRC Pres? ah, no, too much responsibility, I'd have to make acceptance threads, hold press forums....
unless there are some perks I don't know about....
