Apple TV + New Apple 24" Display

Is it possible to connect my Apple TV to the new Apple Display? On the back of the apple tv there's a USB and component/composite holes.

Not easily. The 24" monitor has a minidisplay port only; so far, there are no adapters aftermarket yet.

There isn't. HDMI/DVI to DisplayPort adapter isn't trivial, it requires an active circuitry. In fact, I will bet we will never see one.
