I recently got the Panasonic SDR-H60 60GB hard drive. My best experience with editing has been with using iMovie '06. When I first attempted connecting the SDR-H60 to my Macbook, the option screen on the camera gave me "PC connect". Apparently the software is for PC only. Although apple.com lists this model camcorder to be compatible with iMovie '06. I have the option of using my Mac Book or my Mac OS X version 10.4.11.
I'm not sure whether I can get this to work, or if it would be less hassling to just exchange the camcorder for another model? Also, would I still have this type of compatibility problem if I were to use a camera recording in miniDV rather than hard drive?
