I think that in itself speaks volumes. The purpose of the DGVPG is to pique your curiosity, to make you want to find out what it's all about. It's obviously working :p

Most of the conversation goes on here, in the community discussion, but certain things are reserved for those who've supported the site. (like a sneak peak at rumours before they're made 'public'). No one is trying to exclude anyone from anything here. It's your choice whether to pony it up or not (i'm starting to love that expression :D).

Well, i fought the "in-crowd" in high school, so i'll do it here too :)

i might buy a mug when i reach 500, tho at my current rate that'll be 2010 i think... it's not that i don't want to support the site, it's just that $35 is a lot of money for us right now... we're poor :)

As for starting a group outside the Demi-Gods.
Here is the way it would work.
An alternative method of communication would be established tween members.
This being the internet, the options for this are high.
ICQ has a method of creating chat rooms for multiple users.
Strategy canbe discussed there or where ever and then acted out on the MacRumors board.
This isnt a difficult thing to accomplish. Finding members that will unite is the hard part, i think.
I mean why bother? Because the Demi-Gods have been making plans to manipulate the masses for the benefit of the health of the board.

I fail to see a reason for uproar. Its all in a days work for a Demi-God.
I am happy to see activity by them.
I would be more worried if there wasnt anything going on.
