hi everyone,
i am using mac os. when i checked my IP address at first time is 192.168.1.6. but every day it is changing from one IP to another like 192.168.1.4 to 192.168.1.3. is'nt ip address constant.

It's using a DHCP server that renews the IP every 24 hours.

It doesn't matter what IP address you have unless you want to forward ports or run server.

If you want constant local IP (called STATIC IP)
On your router you can assign an IP base on MAC address (not Mac address)

Those are address on your local network. They are not visable to others on the Internet. They would only see your router. It looks like your router has a DHCP server that is set to hand out IP address with a 24 hour lease. You can change this. Details of how depend on which router you have.

You can likey set your Mac to use any address in the 92.168.1.XXX range and it will work fine. But why care about it unless you are trying to set up access rules in the router and even then it is best to do that based on MAC address
