Hey all,
I've used the bootcamp beta for a couple years on my Macbook Pro without a hitch, but lately I wiped everything and bought Leopard and redid the whole process of Bootcamp. Windows installs just fine with the initial blue screen installation process. However, after it reboots and starts the 2nd setup where it shows all the new XP features and has a "time remaining: 39 minutes", the CD seems to start spinning and then stop repeatedly and it never finishes the installation. The CD isn't scratched or anything, and the CD drive worked fine up until this point. The Drive keeps revving up and stopping. It just won't take anything else off the CD for this installation.
I've tried wiping everything again, deleting and creating partitions, booting up with the CD, putting the Leopard CD in, and nothing works. It's hung up on installation forEVER. Ideas?
