So my dude said he knows a dude that can get me a brand new iPhone 3g for 60 bucks . Sweet deal But the problem is , don't u have to activate it in stores? Also I don't have at&t so I would have to unlock it but how do I do that if the phone isn't activated ? So what should I do if not activated ? Thanks

a) Watch out for stolen phones and shady deals.
b) I'm pretty sure you can now purchase without activating in stores for some cases.
c) The thing to unlock the iPhone 3G is called like YellowSn0w or something. Look it up.

I wouldn't want to be carrying a stolen iPhone. Grow a pair and spend the $200.

I don't care about the money but I'm not signing a contract with at&t. Also I don't really want a 3g bc I have a touch 2g and the g1 but hey if I can get the 3g for cheap then why not . Plus how would I get caught?

nobody is selling you an iphone for $60. Stolen or not. You may have found it yourself.

Voicemail app what r u talking about? I made a huge mistake signing a 2 year contract with tmobile bc they suck and the g1 is terrible. So I was planning to buy the iphone 3g till the sexy palm pre comes out .

Let's not be asking for help with stolen goods, okay? Thanks.
