Well, I finally broke down and bought a mobile phone: a Nokia 3650. Picked up a BlueTooth adapter, too, for my G4 tower. Brought the stuff home and within a few minutes watched iSync flawlessly do its thing between my Mac and the Nokia.

Very, very cool. Glad I paid a little more for this phone! Highly recommended.

Yeah, I hear you. Got a couple buddies wishing the same thing. My choice was driven by three things:

1.T-Mobile's killer good service (from what my 'research' told me, Verizon is losing touch as they balloon in size)

2. Reception consistency with Nokia phones

3. a phone that would play nice with iSync and Bluetooth

Now you need to download Romeo. It lets you control other parts of your mac with your bluetooth phone. I use my Sony Ericcson T68i for my iTunes remote. Not a perfect piece of software but very cool. You may also need to download another small app because of your Nokia but versiontracker will let you know.

I've tried Romeo, and I think i've talked to one of the developer's friends. But I must say that Salling Clicker blows it out of the water.
