In addition to today's release of NVIDIA Graphics Update 2009 (http://www.macrumors.com/2009/01/26/nvidia-graphics-update-2009-improves-cursor-movement-hd-playback/), Apple released two other minor updates:

iDVD 7.0.3 (http://support.apple.com/downloads/iDVD_7_0_3), which weighs in at 27.42 MB and requires OS X 10.4.11 or 10.5.6 or later, addresses several unnamed minor issues and also improves overall stability.

iLife Media Browser Update (http://support.apple.com/downloads/iLife_Media_Browser_Update), recommended for all users of Aperture, iLife '08, iWork '08 and OS X 10.5.6 or later, similarly contains minor bug fixes and stability improvements. The update weighs in at 2.66 MB.

I would think they would have come out with this a month ago. It seems a little late now that iLife '09 has already been introduced.

...and requires OS X 10.4.11 or 10.5.6 or later...

You mean to say OS X 10.4.11 or later?

I had problems installing these updates.
They seem to be installing fine, but then I went away and came back to my laptop (Macbook Pro early 2008) and it was at the stars bacground with the circle thing going around, and it just sat there.

I ended up having to power it off and then back on, and although it took ages to load up, it is now fine.

It is no longer in Software Update, so is there any way to tell if it has actually been updated?

Thanks.

No. It means the minumum requirements are 10.4.11 or 10.5.6. If you have 10.5.0,10.5.1,10.5.2,10.5.3,10.5.4 or 10.5.5 you need to upgrade to 10.5.6.:)

27MB update for unnamed fixes? On an application hardly anyone uses... iLife's main use is iPhoto - how many actually use Garage Band?

Had no problems installing these updates. Took a minute to download, a minute to install before restarting, and a few seconds longer to boot.

What is the iLife Media Browser? Have I been missing out of some functionality?

Never mind. Google found it for me. For those who would ask the same, this is what it looks like:

Is 7.0.3 the version of iDVD that's ship in iLife '09-or could 7.0.2 still be in iLife '09?

Interesting. I was having trouble with iMovie. I would go to view photos and/or videos in iPhoto through the media browser and six out of ten times I would have to clear my iPhoto Preferences for anything to show up in the browser. I hope this fixes that.

media browser looks unchanged. (media browser in iWork '09 shown) no way to choose photos by "places" or "faces" though.

After I downloaded the latest update for iDVD 7.0.3 and tried to install, I got a message telling me 'unable to find location to install'. I have version 5.0.1 installed on my OS which is Leopard. When I try to open iDVD, I get a message - "NOT compatible with this OS". Please help!!

Welcome to MacRumors Shanker!

You can't upgrade from iDVD 5.01 to 7.03 with that update, sorry.
You'll need to get hold of either iLife '08 or the latest iLife '09 - it's really worth buying :)

No, I think he was questioning the '10.5.6 or later' part. There is nothing past 10.5.6 at this moment in time.

Same here. It works if I start it myself. If I run the mouse pointer to the hot corner. However, if it sits idol for the predetermined amount of time, it starts with a statement saying I don't have any album art in my iTunes library.

Weird.

Wow, this update crashed one of my systems, had to do an fsck. I dunno what the deal was, it went fine on my macbook pro, then i did the update on the macbook air. it came up to the grey screen with the apple and it sat there, took a shower came back a half hour later still sitting there. Shut it down and did an fsck and it did some repairs and it's back up and running.
